I have just compiled Molcas 4.1 using g77 v2.96 on a
Linux box running RedHat 7.0. When running the test
jobs, SEWARD complains with an error in UPKI4. The
exact form of the error for the HF job is:
Error detected in UPKI4.
More than 5 bytes used in encoding.
In this buffer, the offending bytes
are from byte nr. (j-4)= 62
Their ICHAR values are:
17 -128 2 -121 2
I see this problem has been encountered using IRIX6.2
and the suggestion was to upgrade the compilers, however,
v2.96 is the latest version of g77 I can find.
Does anyone know what is causing this, and how I can
fix the problem?
Thanks,
Andrew Gilbert
