I just had this same error and was able to get it to compile by using F90 instead of F77.

This was on an Octane R10000.

From the root molcas directory edit

lib/Config.IRIX64.r10000

change all f77 to f90

make cleanup
make all

I haven't actually tested to make sure it runs
correctly but at least it compiles all the way.
